World Dementia Month 2024 Theme India. World alzheimer's day, observed every year on september 21st, is an international campaign. This year’s theme emphasizes the urgency of combating the stigma and misinformation surrounding dementia, which affects more than 55 million people.

Available on 20th september 2024, this year’s world alzheimer report will take a deep dive into the current perceptions of dementia by those living with the condition, carers, health care practitioners and the general public. The number of people living with dementia is predicted to rise sharply to 139 million by 2050.
